The Embassy of Burkina Faso in Washington D.C. has the honor to inform the Burkinabe Diaspora in the United States of America that the 16th edition of the International Handicrafts Exhibition of Ouagadougou (SIAO) will be held from October 28 to November 6, 2022, in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, under the theme: “African Handicrafts, a lever for development and factor of the resilience of the populations”.

The SIAO is the most important meeting place for African crafts and offers real business opportunities to artisans, professional buyers and national and international visitors.

Also, the diaspora actors who wish to participate can register by filling out one of the attached forms, depending on their area of interest. The creativity contest is exclusively reserved for African artisans.
